Street: around 500m long, it starts from Le Duan street cut passing Hoang Dieu street, Nguyen Thai Hoc street, and crossing The Fine Art Museum.
Cao Ba Quat (1808 – 1855), was born in Phu Thi commune, Gia Lam District. He stayed in Thang Long in the past. He graduated the University and to be a teacher in Quoc Oai district, Son Tay province. In 1854, he and Le Duy Cu rose up in arms at My Luong (My Duc district, Hanoi nowadays) (against the oppressive ruling dynasty) but they were repressed and died. He was a poem composer and he has more than 1,300 poems. He used to be a Chinese Vietnamese and was called “Saint Quat”
