Hanoi – Mai Chau – Pu Luong – Tam Coc Tour – 6 Days

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Today, upon your arrival, the tour guide and driver will welcome and transfer you to the hotel so that you can take a rest before starting the tour. For a thousand of years, Hanoi has its own characteristics that attract you to visit this land. On the trip, you will have a chance to admire the traditional water puppet show, stroll around the Old Quarter – the most bustling area in Hanoi, and enjoy the rich culinary here before moving to another area nearby Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Mai Chau (B, L, D)
This morning, journey west into Hoa Binh province, have a short break in Hoa Binh City and continue to Mai Chau valley and take 1.5 – hour climb up to the valley to get a panoramic view of the whole valley and admire the majestic scenery of this area. Then, enjoy lunch with full of specialties of Thai ethnic minority.
In the afternoon, there’s time to discover the village of ethnic minorities which include Lac and Poom Coong village to understand the local lifestyle as well as their culture of Thai community through a visit to their stilt houses.

Enjoy dinner with the local host and interact with them to learn more about the distinctive features of people here. Besides traditional food, visitors can taste the traditional wine of the locals. Spend an overnight on a stilt house here.

Day 3: Mai Chau – Pu Luong (B, L, D)
Head for Pu Luong Nature Reserve this morning. Going through the mountain pass where you can take the whole view of this region, you will arrive the place of nature. Enjoy your lunch here and take a leisurely walk to discover this place as well as go sightseeing to the stunning views here.
In the afternoon, you will cross the Cham River through a suspension bridge and start the journey to find the water wheels that you can hardly find anywhere else and learn the way they operate. Then, you will arrive the house of local fisherman and take part in a rafting tour on the calm river and spend time admiring the surrounding sceneries. The fisherman will introduce to you the way you can use the paddle to control the raft. Then, you return to the Pu Luong Retreat for dinner and take a rest here.

Day 4: Pu Luong – Cuc Phuong National Park (B, L, D)
This morning, your trip will begin with a visit to the rice terraces. After that, go trekking through the small paths to reach the local village where you can find many splendid sceneries because of stunning landscapes here. Continue to discover the valley, you can identify a lot of sites that make your soul captivated and passionate. The view of mountains, rivers, rice fields along with the appearance of local houses creates a harmonious and poetic picture of human and nature. Later, return to Pu Luong Retreat to enjoy lunch and head to Cuc Phuong National Park, have dinner and spend an overnight here.

Day 5: Cuc Phuong National Park – Hanoi (B, L)
Sightseeing with a Local Guide includes a walk around Endangered Primate Rescue Center to see the rare primates and many other creatures here, a visit to the Cave of Early Man and 1000-year-old tree to admire the ancient features in the national park. Then, enjoy lunch at the local restaurant here.
In the afternoon after a short break, the driver will take you to Tam Coc Bich Dong, one of the most beautiful caves in Vietnam and enjoy a 2-hour boat trip to discover the tranquil beauty on a calm river as well as feel relaxed in the peaceful atmosphere of this area. Return to Hanoi for dinner.

Day 6: Hanoi Departure (B)
Your trip ends with the transfer to the airport for your home flight.
