Japanese Locality Promotes Tourism in Ha Noi

A tourism promotion program was organized in Ha Noi on March 13 by representatives from Sapporo city, capital of the Japanese Hokkaido prefecture.

The program was run at the same time with an event to introduce a music video of two well-known Vietnamese singers, Dong Nhi and Cao Thang, with scenes shot in the city.
Snowboarding and skiing tours, lilac (a symbolic flower of Sapporo) and cherry blossoms festivals, and Yosakoi Soran, an energetic dancing event are the tourism products presented at the program.

The Japanese representatives introduced some appealing places of Sapporo such as the Okurayama Ski Jump stadium, the site of the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics and the Jozankei hot spring.
Vietnamese holiday-makers are highly recommended to enjoy cherry blossoms flowering in Sapporo in May.
The beer museum, shrines, twin towers and snow festivals give the fame for Sapporo, the fifth largest city in Japan.
The collected statistics of the city reveals that there were 448 Vietnamese tourists coming to Sapporo from April, 2013 to 2014.

In the 2014-2015 period, it is expected that the number of Vietnamese visitors will exceed 900, accounting for half of the foreign arrivals to the city.
