Pham Hung Road

Pham Hung road, Mai Dich ward, Cau Giay district and My Dinh, Me Tri commune, Tu Liem district, Hanoi, Vietnam.
It’s 4,1km long from the intersection Pham Van Dong – Xuan Thuy – Ho Tung Mau, runs to Tran Duy Hung road. It’s a section of Ring Road 3. This new road named in January, 2002.

Pham Hung (1912 – 1988), real name is Pham Van Thien, born in Tra Vinh province. He joined the Indochinese Communist Party in 1930 and he was sentenced to death by the French before having the sentence commuted. In 1945, he was the revolutionary government take a boat to Con Dao picked and served as Interim Secretary of the Party Committee of the Cochinchina. He worked as a revolutionary against the French and after the Battle of Dien Bien Phu rose rapidly in the party. In 1958 he became Deputy Prime Minister.
