Quang Trung Street

Quang Trung street, Hang Trong, Trang Tien, Tran Hung Dao ward, Hoan Kiem district and Nguyen Du ward, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi, Vietnam.
It’s 1,1km long, from Nha Chung (nearby Tay Son park) to Tran Nhan Tong street (nearby Thong Nhat park), southeast of Thien Quang lake. It cuts Trang Thi, Hai Ba Trung, Ly Thuong Kiet, Tho Nhuom, Tran Hung Dao, Tran Quoc Toan and Nguyen Du street.

It’s 3,35km long, from Trang bridge, connects to Tran Phu road, runs along Ha Dong center to junction Ba La – Bong Do. It’s a section of National Route 6. This new name was given in March, 2000.

Quang Trung also known as Nguyen Hue (born in Binh Dinh in 1753, died in Phu Xuan on 16 September 1792), was the second emperor of the Tay Son Dynasty of Vietnam, reigning from 1788 until 1792. He was also one of the most successful military commanders in Vietnam’s history.
