Sapa Heaven’s Gate

Leaving Sapa town and going towards the north about 18 km, guests can identify that  the road to heaven’s gate is winding in numerous mountains with the sunny shades appearing and suddenly disappeared and only the wind blowing causes vegetation paste into stones. This road is named Tram Ton appearing in the majestic Hoang Lien mountain range. And the heaven’s gate is the peak of this pass.

Standing at the heaven’s gate, travelers can be amazed by a panoramic valley below with the vast green rice fields and Silver Waterfall – one of the 10 most beautiful waterfalls in Lao Cai province from a far distance. About 200 meters in height, Silver Waterfall pours water during the day and night contributing to the sound of solitary mountains. Or simply, visitors just stand to look around the endless and liberal space in front. Also in this gate, visitors will feel the magnificent beauty of Fansipan mountain- the roof of Indochina roof. And, the below area is an area of the deep chasms with primary forests containing many mysteries yet explored.
