Silver Waterfall has long been renowned as an attractive site of Sapa. This waterfall flows from the top of the mountain. Like Love Waterfall, standing at the foot of the Silver waterfall, tourists can see the vast space of sky and land as well as majestic mountains in the far distance that provide a feeling of littleness by the wonder of nature.
Silver Waterfall is located about 12 km from Sapa town. From the high mountain with hundreds of meters, with more than 200m elevation, the waterfall is upstream of Muong Hoa stream and pours down the stream all year round with white water. In the day with clear blue sky, standing on Ham Rong Mountain, visitors will see in the far distance the white water like silver flowing down strongly. Therefore, people here gave it the romantic name – Silver Waterfall. Remotely, visitors can hear a rushing waterfall, the echo is repeated in the deep forests increasing the feeling of wildness and mystery. When approaching, the gorgeous waterfall appears in front of the tourists, the above droplets of water fly as clouds obscuring the top of the falls. In the bottom of the waterfall is the water foam splashed out because of a strong flow.
After nearly half an hour overcoming the winding road, breathing in the air of mountainous area and listening to the sound of birds make visitors feel like being lost in a different world with the natural sounds of wildlife. Sapa has four seasons with fruits and flowers, and during these seasons, it always has the mist in the early morning, especially the area of Silver Waterfall. In summer, it is still a little cold.
