Getting Ha Giang from Hanoi

The distance from Hanoi capital to Ha Giang has the total length of about 280km and there are 2 possible routes to choose. As follows:
First route: From Hanoi city, cross Thang Long bridge. Follow the direction of Noi Bai to Lao Cai, Vinh Phuc, and Viet Tri, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang. After arriving in the city of Tuyen Quang, you travel along Highway No.2 and head through Ham Yen, Bac Quang, Vi Xuyen to reach TP. Ha Giang.

Second route: From Hanoi city, go to the Lang – Hoa Lac and go towards the Thang Long Highway. Then go along Highway No.21 to Son Tay. Next, go cross Trung Ha Bridge to Co Tiet, then go past Chau Phong Bridge and go along road N.320 to reach Phu Tho. From Phu Tho, come along Highway N.2 to Tuyen Quang, Doan Hung then continue the journey as the first route.

Tips: If you want to take a bus to Ha Giang, you can catch one at the My Dinh bus station with the car running time of about 8 hours.
